BiohaQ IceLab – 50-Session Package (140 RON/session)
BiohaQ IceLab –110°C
Whole-Body Cryotherapy | Recovery • Performance • Wellbeing • Longevity
Discover the power of extreme cold. Just a few minutes for an extraordinary experience.
–110°C. A few minutes. An intense experience for your body and mind.
At BiohaQ, cold becomes a controlled experience through IceLab Pro – Mecotec technology, an advanced whole-body cryotherapy system (Whole-Body Cryotherapy).
Cryotherapy involves brief exposure of the body to extremely low temperatures, in a dry-air environment, under the supervision of specialised staff.
Exposure to cold triggers complex physiological responses involving the autonomic nervous system, peripheral circulation and thermoregulatory mechanisms.
IceLab is not just an extreme-cold experience. It is a way to explore your body's capacity to respond and adapt to an intense physical stimulus.

What are the effects of cryotherapy at –110°C?
❄️ 1. Muscle recovery after exercise
Whole-body cryotherapy is used in sports medicine and in recovery programmes.
Some studies suggest it may help reduce the muscle soreness felt after intense training and improve perceived recovery.
❄️ 2. Modulation of the inflammatory response
Cold exposure may temporarily influence certain mechanisms and biomarkers involved in the inflammatory response.
These effects are being studied in the context of sports recovery and certain musculoskeletal conditions.
Cryotherapy does not replace medical treatment of inflammatory diseases.
❄️ 3. Stimulation of the autonomic response
Intense cold activates the adaptive mechanisms of the autonomic nervous system.
This reaction may be accompanied by transient changes in heart rate, peripheral circulation and alertness.
❄️ 4. Wellbeing and revitalisation
After cryotherapy, some people describe a feeling of rejuvenation, energy and improved mood.
These effects are predominantly subjective and may vary from one session to the next.
❄️ 5. Recovery and sports performance
Following an individual assessment, cryotherapy can be integrated into the recovery programme of active people and athletes.
It may be a complementary option for managing muscle discomfort after exercise, without replacing sleep, nutrition, hydration or active recovery.
❄️ 6. Cryotherapy and longevity
Controlled cold exposure is being studied for its effects on thermoregulatory mechanisms, physiological stress and the body's adaptation.
In longevity medicine, these mechanisms are of research interest.
At present, there is insufficient clinical evidence that cryotherapy sessions at –110°C slow ageing or extend lifespan.
How does an IceLab session work?
The IceLab experience is progressive, taking place in three chambers at different temperatures:
1. Acclimatisation chamber: –12°C
The first stage allows initial adaptation to the cold environment.
2. Intermediate chamber: –60°C
The body continues to acclimatise to the low temperatures.
3. Main chamber: –110°C
The final stage involves brief exposure to extremely cold, dry air.
The standard BiohaQ protocol: up to 3 minutes in each chamber, with a total duration of no more than 9 minutes.
The duration of each stage may be reduced depending on previous experience, individual tolerance and the staff's assessment.
It is not an endurance test. The exposure can be stopped at any time.
What do you need to know before your first IceLab session?
1. How should you prepare?
✔ Arrive with your skin and hair completely dry.
✔ Avoid applying creams, oils or lotions immediately before the session.
✔ Do not enter IceLab straight after a shower, sauna or intense workout if your skin is still damp.
✔ Remove jewellery and metal objects that may come into direct contact with your skin.
✔ Tell the staff about any medical conditions you have and any treatments you are taking.
2. What equipment will you wear?
To protect sensitive areas, you will receive instructions on using the special equipment:
- Headband to protect the ears.
- Mask to protect the nose and mouth.
- Protective gloves.
- Dry socks.
- Special footwear.
- Minimal clothing, in line with the IceLab protocol.
All items must be completely dry before entering the chambers.
3. Is an assessment required before the session?
Yes. Safety is a priority at BiohaQ.
Before your first session, we carry out:
✔ Completion of a medical questionnaire.
✔ A check for contraindications.
✔ A blood pressure measurement.
✔ Determination of the appropriate exposure time.
4. Who should avoid cryotherapy?
Cryotherapy at extreme temperatures is not suitable for everyone.
Contraindications, or situations that require a specific medical assessment, include:
- Uncontrolled high blood pressure.
- Severe or unstable cardiovascular conditions.
- Significant heart rhythm disorders.
- Raynaud's syndrome and certain peripheral circulatory disorders.
- Cold urticaria and other severe cold hypersensitivity reactions.
- Severe or unstable respiratory conditions.
- Acute infections and feverish states.
- Pregnancy.
- Other conditions for which exposure to extreme cold may pose a risk.
Any medical condition must be disclosed before the session. BiohaQ staff determine eligibility in accordance with the safety protocol.
5. What will you feel during the session?
You will experience an intense sensation of cold, different from that produced by cold water.
The air in IceLab is very dry, which can make the exposure easier to tolerate than you might expect.
You may feel tingling, cooling of the skin and a temporary increase in alertness.
Breathe calmly, move slowly and follow the staff's instructions.
If you experience dizziness, difficulty breathing, chest pain, marked numbness or significant discomfort, stop the exposure immediately.
6. What should you do after the session?
After leaving IceLab:
✔ Return gradually to room temperature.
✔ Get dressed and warm up with gentle movement, if you feel well.
✔ Hydrate properly.
✔ Monitor how your body reacts.
✔ Tell the staff if any unusual symptoms occur.
