Your DNA doesn’t change, but the way you live can influence how it is expressed. Genetic testing shows the predispositions you carry and helps you make targeted choices about diet, training and prevention.
What genetic testing shows
- Nutrigenetic profile – how you metabolise caffeine, fats, carbohydrates, lactose or folate, and which diet suits you.
- Predispositions – to cardiovascular, metabolic or neurodegenerative conditions (for example, ApoE genotype). They are not a verdict, but a map for prevention.
- Biological age – how quickly your body is ageing compared with your chronological age.
The gut microbiome
Gut bacteria influence digestion, immunity, inflammation and metabolism. Microbiome analysis shows the diversity of your gut flora, the balance between beneficial and potentially harmful bacteria, and the capacity to produce protective compounds such as butyrate. Based on the results, fibre, probiotics and prebiotics are chosen in a targeted way.
How the results are used
Genetic results are interpreted by the BiohaQ medical team together with your body composition, VO₂ max and blood tests. That is how a longevity plan is built for you, rather than a generic one.
Where they are included
Genetic tests and microbiome analysis are part of the Longevity Blueprint programme. Their cost is paid separately, depends on the recommended panel and is communicated to you before testing.
Genetic results indicate predispositions, not diagnoses. They are interpreted by a physician in a clinical context.
